Davy Down Open Days 2008
Davy Down holds open days on the second Sunday of every month from April through to October (except where this clashes with public holidays, when the date may be different). The remaining date for 2008 is:
 October 12^th Open Day, Noon to 5 pm
Activities for all ages (Rain or shine)

•  On the hour: Activities for all the family: Pond Dipping, Nature Walks, Water Vole Spotting & meet some snakes and our gigantic American Bullfrog.

• On the half hour: Get fit by walking or running around Davy Down and the Mardyke Valley. 1K, 2K and 3K routes marked out.

•   Anytime: A chance to learn where your drinking water comes from and tour the historic Pumping Station and find out about the industrial heritage of Thurrock.

•   7 days a week: Bring your bicycle and enjoy the new Mardyke Valley bridleway. Horse riders also welcome.

How to find us: We are off Pilgrims Lane (B186) between the Sainsburys’ roundabout (A1306) and Stifford Road (B1335), RM16 5UL. Coming from North Stifford Village turn left at the Forge and almost immediately right into Back Lane (Davy Down).  Free parking and toilets.
