Friday Health Walk    

● Do you hardly leave your front door?
● Know walking is good for you but don't get around to it?
● Want to walk but get bored doing it on your own?
● Have health problems & difficulty moving around?

Then why not come join us on one of our FREE walks. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly and there is no pressure to go any further than you wish.

You don't need to book, just come along on the day. The walks take place whatever the weather, please dress accordingly.

Every Friday at 1:30pm. Meet at the Pumping Station.

If its your first walk, please arrive 20 minutes early to register and chat with your walk leader.

Davy Down Open Days 2012...

Currently in planning stage...

Standard open day activities include pond dipping, nature walks, water vole spotting. You can also meet some snakes and our gigantic American bullfrogs. There is the opportunity to learn where your drinking water comes from, tour the historic Pumping Station and find out about the industrial heritage of Thurrock. Bring your bicycle and enjoy the new Mardyke Valley bridleway. Horse riders also welcome.
